Our transdisciplinary research fosters curiosity and collaboration while tackling some of the most pressing public health challenges.
With a robust network of dedicated faculty, students and postdoctoral scholars, the Department Social and Behavioral Sciences is committed to advancing health and well-being for all. Using cutting edge research methods, we seek to identify, understand, and transform systemic, structural, social, and behavioral factors to promote optimal population health. A hallmark of our approach is authentic community engagement and partnership with intended beneficiaries and end users.
We employ a variety of methodologies including, but not limited to, mixed methods, behavioral clinical trials, program evaluation, social marketing, and implementation science.
